The District Attorney’s Office invites students to job shadow professionals from various criminal justice agencies on June 21, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. Based on their areas of interest, students will be paired with prosecuting attorneys, defense attorneys, probation officers, law enforcement officers, investigators and judges to get a first-hand look at the criminal justice process and the different roles within the system. There is also a presentation on crime scene investigations (CSI), evidence collection, and forensic science used to solve crimes.
The program is open to current Sacramento County high school students (incoming 9th through 12th graders). Space is limited, and spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
