If you're interested in attending a military service academy (West Point, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, etc.), you should know that it's a complicated process - and one that you should start in your junior year of high school. Bera is hosting a Service Academy Information Night on September 18. On October 26, Cosumnes River College will hold a Career Education Open House. During the program, held form 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., students will hear “pitches” from CRC’s Career Technical Education programs (including Architecture, Automotive Technology, Construction, Fire Technology, and Veterinary Technology) and then choose their top three. After that, they’ll attend in-depth presentations about the three they’ve chosen. Space is limited (first come, first served).
