Elk Grove Unified School District is hosting Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings for interested community members. One is on September 15 and the other is on October 13. On October 26, Cosumnes River College will hold a Career Education Open House. During the program, held form 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., students will hear “pitches” from CRC’s Career Technical Education programs (including Architecture, Automotive Technology, Construction, Fire Technology, and Veterinary Technology) and then choose their top three. After that, they’ll attend in-depth presentations about the three they’ve chosen. Space is limited (first come, first served).
