ARI Internship Orientation

ARI Community Services 5100 El Paraiso Avenue, Sacramento, CA, United States

Asian Resources is offering paid summer internships for youth ages 16-24. You need to attend one of their orientations in order to get an application. The orientation dates are April 13 and April 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Orientations are held at ARI Community Services, 5100 El Paraiso Ave., Sacramento, 95824. WACAC College Fair

The Western Association for College Admission Counseling College Fair provides students with the opportunity to meet representatives from colleges and universities from all over the country and beyond. This is the largest college fair in the Sacramento region. Pre-register for the college fair here: https://app.strivescan.com/students You will receive a bar code that college representatives can scan to receive your information. After the event, you’ll receive an email with the contact information for the colleges that scanned your information.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Community Training

Elk Grove Unified School District is hosting a Youth Mental Health First Aid training for interested community members. Youth Mental Health First Aid is an eight-hour public education program that introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and most importantly teaches individuals how to help a youth in crisis or one experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.
