Alpha Academy

The Alpha Academy is dedicated to mentoring the young Black men of the Sacramento area. The Academy meets from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the third Saturday of the month from September to May at the Cosumnes River College Library in Room L-111. These college students will share their perspectives and answer any questions you have about making the transition to college, college life, and how Pathways to Success helped them. We'll meet in the LCHS Career Center between 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Hope to see you there!

Join us in the Florin HS Library, where we'll discuss the different paths offered by community college. For example, high school students can enroll in an advanced education program. Following high school, students can get a degree to transfer to a four-year college or choose from among many career and technical education programs that can help a student enter the workforce within two years.
