Pre-register at http://www.gotocollegefairs.com/. Students in grades 9-11 should bring an unofficial transcript for colleges to review. Youth Mental Health First Aid Community Training
Robert L. Trigg Education Center 9510 Elk-Grove Florin Road, Elk GroveElk Grove Unified School District is hosting a Youth Mental Health First Aid training for interested community members. Youth Mental Health First Aid is an eight-hour public education program that introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and most importantly teaches individuals how to help a youth in crisis or one experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.
